Who can get a ride from Hitch & Hay?
Anyone! Our services are available to all Nebraskans. Some counties have discounted rates. Click the link to see them!
What are the routes and schedules? Where can I find them?
The ride service is a completely on demand service. There are no bus routes or times, all you have to do is call and schedule a pickup!

How do I buy a ticket?

Do you have a monthly or annual pass?
Rides are either paid for per transport or billed monthly.
What if I have to cancel my ride?
Call dispatch as soon as possible. Sometimes a driver may depart before office hours. In that case call 308 737 0901.
Are there seatbelts?
Yes, all of the vans are equipped with safety belts.
Do you run on holidays?
We continue medically necessary transports if they land on a holiday, such as dialysis or chemo for example. But otherwise, no.
What are the hours?
Office hours are 8am to 5pm but transports are based on availability and accommodation of needs. We may accept early morning AND night time rides if that is what’s required to best service our riders.
How many people can fit in the vans?
Our passenger van seats 6. The ADA equipped vans seat 3 or 1 passenger and 1 wheelchair.
Are pets allowed in the van?
Any pets brought along in the van must be kennelled.
What if I miss my ride?

We cannot guarantee the driver will be able to come back and pick you up. You will need to contact dispatch and coordinate. In this case, call (308) 276-2182
